Sample preparation instruments

An example of sample preparation room connected to the VersaProbe is shown in the following photo.

The room is connected to an option port of the VersaProbe through a gate valve which allows sample movement in the UHV environment.

The sample preparation room has a sample heater (from room temperature to 600℃), a gas analyzer, a sample cutting apparatus, and a sample introduction booth for sample preparation and for processing.
