JASIS Kansai 2019 was held over three days from Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at Grand Cube Osaka. This was the first time JASIS had been held in the Kansai region, and it was a great success, with many customers visiting our booth and the New Technology Presentation.
Exhibition Booth

At the exhibition booth, we introduced our lineup of surface analysis instruments, centered on the scanning dual X-ray photoelectron spectrometer with hard X-ray (HAXPES) PHI Quantes, the multifunctional scanning X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) PHI 5000 VersaProbe III, and the time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometer (TOF-SIMS) PHI nanoTOF II equipped with the MS/MS parallel imaging option.
New Technology Presentation
Latest analysis examples using the laboratory-type hard X-ray photoelectron spectrometer PHI Quantes

Following an introduction to the advantages of dual monochromatic X-rays, we presented actual PHI Quantes measurements of charge neutralization for insulators and chemical state analysis.

Latest analysis examples of the multifunctional X-ray photoelectron spectrometer PHI 5000 VersaProbe III

We introduced the latest options for the PHI 5000 VersaProbe III — LEIPS (Low-Energy Inverse Photoemission Spectroscopy) and REELS (Reflection Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy) — focusing on their principles and features.
